The Tcheandjieu lab is interested in understanding the genetic architecture of complex diseases to develop approaches for risk prediction and therapeutic targeting. We have a particular interest in studying ancestry groups that have historically been under-studied such as African, Hispanic, Native American, and indigenous populations around the world. The current phenotypes of interest are cardiovascular diseases and risk factors, but our approach can be extended to other phenotypes.

The Tcheandjieu lab is interested in understanding the genetic architecture of complex diseases to develop approaches for risk prediction and therapeutic targeting. We have a particular interest in studying ancestry groups that have historically been under-studied such as African, Hispanic, Native American, and indigenious populations around the world. The current phenotypes of interest are cardiovascular diseases and risk factors, however, our approach can be extended to other phenotypes.
